Half the world is busy making love bridges
& I find myself desperate digging ditches
If love was what made the world go round
Why was I cursed, collecting tears, darkness in me well-bound?
The lovers' day, magic filled valentine Feb 14
No more to me than 364 other days passed holy clean
Mopping the floor with my torn tear-soaked hanky
While the other girls shopped, fitted gowns to their partners' fancy!!
My day will come! My day will come!!
My heart laments, as it senses troubles some;
Magical will the day be when it witnesses one-
Valentine, with more fervour than RAKSHABANDHAN!!
